Mahesh is the Product Manager for Adobe FrameMaker. He has managed multiple products and made a key contribution to the first ever Technical Communication Suite. Prior to his MBA, he worked with IBM.

Such comments can often be heard from Technical Writers, irrespective of the industry or even company they work with, the kind of documentation that they create, or the part of the world in which they live. Accepting, this situation is probably the first step. But solving this problem requires, looking at this problem from the other side. This means that we need to examine the developer’s mindset and their problems. Based on actual interviews of R&D team members, this discussion intends to provide some practical answers to improving communication between technical writers and the R&D community. After all, as technical communicators, improving communication is the least that we can do!

When you are coming from Nehru Place, take *a right turn under the Maa Anandmayi Flyover* (*in front of Kalkaji temple*) towards Okhla Phase-I.
