About the Session & Speakers

Tharoor Gopalakrishnan

Documentation Metrics: An overview on the parameters that add value in terms of quality of the document, the writer and the overall productivity in terms of completing the task.

Tharoor Gopalakrishnan was in Technical Writing for the last 8 years before he moved to Software Quality – Delivery Assurance. Prior to this he has been with the training industry for more than a decade. The need to share the learning is being channeled through the Regional Conference.

Manish Mohan

Being Successful Technical Writer – What does it take to succeed as a technical writer? What skills and traits are companies looking for in a technical writer? This session shares some perspectives for succeeding as a technical writer. This session will discuss skills companies look for in a technical writer, how to be successful in managing technical writing projects and career options as a technical writer.

Manish Mohan heads the content development at Element K, Chennai. He has been in the content development industry for more than 17 years and has held management and leadership positions managing large multi-functional teams. Manish started as an instructional designer and has successfully managed many large projects. Manish is actively involved in recruiting and managing instructional designers and technical writers.
